No doubt, the Sochi Olympic Games are not only a great international festival of sport, but also a brilliant opportunity to see the most beautiful and hot athletes in the world. Here are some of them: 
 
Silje Norendal

Silje Norendal is a Norwegian snowboarder. She was born on January 9, 1993 in Kongsberg, Norway. She competes in halfpipe, slopestyle and boardercross. Her local club is Kongsberg IF. Siljie got her first snowboard at age four. She did a number of different sports when she was young, but was always drawn to snowboarding. These days, at the age of 20, Silje is one of the leading lights in women’s snowboarding. With a riding style that’s bringing together a combination of progressive tricks and smooth style, Silje managed to get on some of the biggest podiums of the snowboarding world.  Her moto is "Smile at the world and the world will smile back." 
 
Eve Muirhead

Eve Muirhead is a Scottish curler. She was born on April 22, 1990. Muirhead won the 2013 World Women's Curling Championship, skipping the Scottish team and is also a four-time world junior champion, having won in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. She curls out of the Dunkeld Curling Club based in Pitlochry. Muirhead's father, Gordon, was also an international curler, who competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics and won two World Championship silver medals. She has two brothers, Glen and Thomas, who are also keen curlers.
 
Tanja Eisenschmid

Tanja Eisenschmid is a German hockey player. She was born on April 20, 1993 in  Marktoberdorf, Germany. As one of the younger players on the national team, Tanja Eisenschmid brings a great enthusiasm to an improving squad. Playing defense, she has helped to bolster the Germanblue line. Her debut with the senior team came at the 2011 IIHF World Championships (Division I), and she helped the Germans capture the gold medal.
 
Anna Sidorova

Anna Sidorova is a charismatic and beautiful captain of the Russian national curling team. She was born on February 6, 1991 in Moscow. Anna was a figure skater for seven years during her childhood, but she had to leave this sport because of serious sports injury. She became involved in curling at the age of 13, and soon began to participate in local and national competitions. At the age of 19, Anna Sidorova participated in 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and became the youngest skip at the games. She is the skip of the Russian curling team at the 2014 Winter Olympics.  Sidorova is a student of the Russian State University for the Humanities. Anna’s hobbies are dancing and music.
 
Alexandra Jekova

Alexandra Jekova is a famous Bulgarian snowboarder. She was born on October 5, 1987 in Sophia, Bulgaria.  Alexandra began snowboarding at age eight. Her father was one of the first people in Bulgaria to get involved in snowboarding. He bought equipment for Jekova so she could join him as soon as she was old enough. Alexandra has been competing on the international snowboard scene since she was 11. Her main discipline is snowboard cross although she has been competing in the Parallel World Cup, too. She has won many titles during her climb up to the top of the FIS Snowboard World Cup Tour and also competed at the Winter Olympic Games in Torino and Vancouver. Alexandra’s hobbies are windsurfing, wakeboarding, diving, motor sports, joga, music, art and design. 
 
Rosalind Groenewoud

Rosalind Groenewoud is a Canadian freeskier. She was born on December 10, 1989 in Calgary, Alberta. She is the 2011 FIS World Champion in halfpipe, Groenewoud is also the 2012 Winter X Games champion x 2 (Aspen and Tignes) and has 3 silver and two bronze medals from X Games competitions in halfpipe. She won the AFP Overall Championship in 2009 & 2010 and AFP Halfpipe Overall Ranking in 2012.
 
Rosalind decided she wanted to be a mogul skier after watching the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City on television while her family were living in Ecuador. Once she moved back to Canada, she discovered she enjoyed the jumps and being in the air a lot more. "The rush of landing a run in competition that you are proud of, and a little scared of, is pretty unbeatable." Rosalind is an ambassador for the Right To Play organization, a group that teaches children in disadvantaged regions the importance and empowering ability of sport and play. In 2011 as part of the initiative, she travelled to Rwanda with Olympian Helen Upperton and Canadian bobsleigh pilot Stephanie Buryk, where she says they spent more time learning than they did teaching.

Julia Dujmovits is an Austrian snowboarder. She was born on born June 12, 1987 in Güssing, Austria.  Julia began the sport at age nine after she saw her cousin snowboarding. She competed in her first race at age 11. She loves the adrenaline rush she gets from the sport. "It's awesome when you round a curve at high speed."  Her hobbies are snowboarding, surfing, travelling and studying. 

 

Kim Yuna

Kim Yuna is a South Korean figure skater.  She was born on September 5, 1990. Kim Yuna is the 2010 Olympic champion in ladies' singles, the 2009, 2013 World champion, the 2009 Four Continents champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final champion, the 2006 World Junior champion, the 2005 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and a six-time South Korean national champion.
 
Kim Yuna began skating in 1996 in Gwacheon, Korea. Her mother would take her down to the local ice rink for recreation. She started to take the sport seriously at the age of seven when a coach approached her mother. "A coach told my mum I had talent and I would make a very good skater."  In 2010, she was given the Sportswoman of the Year Award by the Women's Sports Foundation. Kim Yuna has announced she will retire from competition after the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, to concentrate on running to be elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee.
 
Torah Bright

Torah Bright is an Australian professional snowboarder. She was born on December 27, 1986, Cooma, New South Wales. She is a Vancouver Olympic gold medalist. She lives and trains in the area of Salt Lake City, USA. Torah Bright was on skis at the age of two, snowboarding at 11, and had turned professional by the time she was 14. She was the flag bearer for Australia at the opening ceremony of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
